IELTS 口試 – 興趣愛好、旅行和攝影篇

  1. 嗜好
Q1: Is it important to have a hobby?
Answer 1: Definitely ! I mean modern life is getting more and more hectic, so people are constantly under an enormous amount of stress. That’s why it’s necessary to get into some recreational activities to unwind and just leave their busy life behind for a minute.

Q2: Is it harmful to spend too much time on a hobby?
Answer 2: Yes, I believe spending excessive amount of time on a hobby may have an adverse effect on people. You may end up having not enough time for your priorities like family or work. For example, it’s easy for me to lose myself in books and utterly lose track of deadlines at work.
  2. 旅行
    Q1: Do you like travelling?
Answer 1: Yes, definitely! I think seeing the world, such as appreciating great historical monuments or spending a holiday in a white sandy beach, is a good way to expand my horizons. It’s very interesting to learn about exotic cultures and explore new places.

Q2: Who do you often spend holiday with?
Answer 2: It depends on what kind of holiday it is. If it’s Christmas vacation, I prefer hang out with my friends here and there and have a chit chat. If it’s a New Year holiday, I just want to celebrate the holiday with my family and relatives in a cozy ambience.

Q3: When you visit new places, what do you like to do?
Answer 3: It seems to me that there is a lot of stuff to do when visiting a brand-new place. At first, I would love to take photographs to bookmark my travel experience as well as share with my best mates. Enjoying the local snacks seems to be another character when I feel like discovering the places of great aesthetic appeal anywhere I set foot.
  3. 攝影
Q1: What types of photos do you like taking?
Answer 1: I often experiment with my camera and mobile phone camera and that’s why I like to take a wide range of photos that include nature, people, gift items, the sky, flowers and so on. I am particularly interested in taking photos of people. Their genuine smile, sad expression and sometimes bewilderment make the photograph worth cherishing.

Q2: What do you with photos you take?
Answer 2: After I take around 20-30 photographs in my camera or my mobile phone, I connect it to my laptop and sort out the best clicks. Then I name those photos according to the theme and upload them to my Flickr account. Flickr is a great photo storing and sharing website owned by Yahoo! and it offers an enormous storage space. Sometimes, I share a few pictures with my friends on Facebook and instagram . I usually print a photo if I want to send it to someone as a gift or frame it.

Q3: When you visit other places, do you take photos or buy postcards?
Answer 3: I used to buy postcards whenever I visited a new place with my parents in my childhood. Perhaps I did so to remind myself of the places I had been to. But with the increasing use of smartphone and cameras, we can now take our own pictures and videos and save them in digital form. In this age of technological advancement, we are more inclined to take pictures and videos and then share those with friends and family rather than purchasing souvenirs, especially postcards.

Q4: Do you like people taking photos of you?
Answer 4: No, I do not prefer to be in photograph, especially when it comes to asking strangers for this favor. I think this is a matter of personal choice and I am not the type of person who likes taking selfies.
